If you try installing the PSEngine on a Windows 10 machine you may receive the message “Windows protected your PC”, which seemingly prevents you from running PSEngine.
However, Click on More Info and you can click the Run anyway button to continue the installation.
Why does Windows do this? It’s a Windows feature designed to help secure your PC. It is designed to help prevent malicious software from being installed on your PC, BUT it also stops unknown software from being installed. PSEngine in the eyes of Windows SmartScreen does not yet know about PSEngine, and hence it flags this warning.
