The favourites feature allows you to view your favourite Planning opportunities, Properties and Land.

Favouriting planning opportunities is covered in our Planning Portal Tool knowledge base article. And favouriting properties is covered in our Property Search Tool knowledge base article.

Favouriting Land will be covered in this article.

Favouriting land is all conducted via the map screen in PSEngine. Regardless of whether the land is highlighted via the planning or property tool, or simply zoomed in from the map screen.

Here we can see that I have selected a property on the map from the Property Search, but the method going forwards is exactly the same.

Now all I have to do is continue to zoom in until I see the land boundary. The zoom feature can be activated via a mouse scroll wheel, gesture control on a touchpad or by using the zoom keys on the bottom right of the map screen.

As you zoom closer the individual land boundaries are highlighted in blue.

Here we can see that when clicking the specific land boundary, is highlights in yellow (1). Which opens up the notification in the top right (2) which shows the Land/Inspire ID. When you enter this into the Land Registry, you can purchase the title deeds for the land. Once purchased, you can import the title deeds into PSEngine (as detailed here) and mail out to the land owner.

In the top left, you can see the heart symbol (3), which when highlighted shows the tooltip: "Add plot to favourite". Clicking on this will add the highlighted land into your favourites list.

Viewing favourites:

The favourites tab is located on the top of the PSEngine function screen, between import and reporting (1). Once in favourites you can choose between your Planning favourites (2). Your Properties favourites (3). And Plots of land favourites (4).

Once in Plots, your favourites will be listed, with information on the land size, land id and a name set by the user.

These can be filtered ascending of descending by clicking on the field title. And by clicking on the row, the map will move to the location of the favourite.
